Minor Surgery

The practice undertakes minor operations to help save long waits for hospital treatment. These are only done after consultation with the general practitioner. Please make an appointment at reception.

Child Health And Vaccinations

The childhood vaccinations are now given at two, three and four months to protect small babies from the childhood diseases. Clinics for the under fives are held at each surgery on certain days where no appointment is necessary. Routine health checks and immunisation service are provided at these clinics and the health visitor may be available for advice.

Adult Vaccinations/Holiday Vaccinations

Advice and a full range of ummunisations are available including holiday vaccinations. Please make an appointment with the nurse for this service at least eight weeks before you are due to travel.

Non-NHS Services

Certain certificates and examinations are not covered by the NHS. For these a fee is chargeable in accordance with current British Medical Association recommended charges. Details may be obtained from reception. Such things include, Private certificates, holiday cancellation certificates, fitness to travel.
