NEW SERVICE - GLENLEA SURGERY NURSE LED EMAIL SERVICE
The practice wishes to improve their services for patients, by providing a Nurse-led E-mail Service. The new service would enable the practice to inform patients via e-mail about specific information, such as:
Pathology results
Reminders for Smears, Immunisations etc.
Health Advice to at Risk Patients e.g. diet, exercise, smoking etc
Travel Health Advice
The service would also enable patients to contact the practice via e-mail to:
Answer none-urgent health questions
Patients can expect a response to their e-mail regarding none-urgent health questions within 2 working days.
To subscribe to this new service, the practice requires the patient’s consent to send patient identifiable data via e-mail.
If you are interested in using this new service, please could ask reception for an e-mail consent form and return this form to the practice at your earliest convenience.
